Description
One exception to this that I personally do is that all my Eldar bikes are on oval bases, but have never been supplied as such. It just makes more sense over the 30mm round bases they come with now.
Craftworlds have great units, but they’re expensive and awkward to get into lists. Most notably, the move of Dire Avengers from Troops to Elites is absolutely brutal to army construction – they’re now powerful enough that you’d be very happy filling a Battalion with them, and you want some in most builds, but making that work is now a challenge. This makes using a Harlequin Patrol as your Warlord detachment (plus to bring some good RND units) alongside an Asuryani Vanguard a genuine consideration, and other lists we’ve tried have ended up with pure Outriders.

Finally, more Corsair weirdos, this time the weird weirdos. The main thing that differentiates the Voidscarred is being able to add a Way Seeker for 25pts, who is a Runes of Fate or Fortune caster, and if the number of smart missiles in the metagame goes down it seems at least somewhat plausible that Drukhari might want a six-model 85pt unit who can farm them a CP every turn with Fateful Divergence . Probably not much play for Craftworlds though. The Ghost Warriors are among the most powerful forces that the Asuryani send into battle. Each one combines a towering robotic wraith-construct with the soul of a deceased Aeldari warrior. Guided by a Spiritseer, and armed with some of the most devastating weaponry in the craftworlds' arsenal, a host of Ghost Warriors strides across the worlds of the galaxy bringing immortal vengeance. The great measure of control afforded by this gestalt mind gives the pilot mastery over the construct's psychically-powered weapon systems and affords the war machine an acrobatic grace that belies its massive size. Then there’s the Crusade section, which is a cool way to grow and develop your army as you play games, as units earn experience and gain new skills and armaments. Tell epic stories of conflict and triumph as you blood a force of fresh troops and mould them into hardened veterans armed with legendary relics of war.
I hope you enjoyed this, how would you build a 1,000 point list from the Combat Patrol Box? There may well be aspects of the codex or units that I have not included that you think should be, so why not let us know in the comments below. Each Ghost Warrior was controlled by the soul of a dead Eldar ancestor drawn from a craftworld's Infinity Circuit. A Ghost Warrior was smaller than the larger constructs referred to as "Spirit Warriors." It is rare to see an Aeldari warhost without a Farseer present to guide it. These immensely powerful psykers lead the armies of their craftworld, scrying the tendrils of the future with the help of arcane runes and psychic mastery. They maximise the natural skills and power of the Aeldari, and they hinder their foes with stupefying magics and eldritch storms. Guardian Hosts

The wraith-constructs in which the Spirit Stones are housed are made from no common material -- they are crafted from wraithbone. At least as strong as ceramite, wraithbone is an organic material -- grown from pure psychic energy, not forged, and able to self-repair over time. The Gate creates a little bubble around it A few forward-thinking groups of Aeldari managed to avoid the Fall, building vast spaceships called Craftworlds and escaping their increasingly debased kin. Known as the Asuryani, these refugees have lived a precarious existence in the millennia since the coming of Slaanesh, preserving a more austere way of life and guarding against another calamity. Bursting forth from the Webway, the forces of the Asuryani have finally arrived in 9th edition proper – and they’ve brought friends. The brand new Aeldari codex covers not only the Craftworld Eldar, but also the cryptic Harlequins and grim Ynnari, making it one of the largest and deepest codexes we’ve seen this edition. If this rift opens within the ranks of the enemy, the results range from catastrophic trauma to full bodily displacement into the Warp.
The clarity of thought provided by the living twin ensures that the construct moves with the speed typical of the Aeldari race, whilst the psychic link between the pilot and their departed sibling allows them to commune with not only the animating forces of the twin, but also the spirits of former incumbents that once controlled the construct's long-limbed form.
It comes armed with a Bright Lance for a little extra punch and it’s standard twin Shuriken Catapults. Hunters of Ancient Relics – Action and Shoot army-wide, good in a Windrider-heavy list with the above.
With the guidance of a Spiritseer, it is possible for an Asuryani spirit to separate itself from the Infinity Circuit of the craftworlds and flow into a Spirit Stone put aside for that purpose. Such a Spirit Stone can then be placed within the robotic body of a wraith-construct, imbuing its artificial form with a living intellect. I’m still working on expanding the army. My next goal is to get it to 1,000 points, and I’m almost there. I’d like to push it beyond that, if my friends and I don’t get distracted, which is a distinct possibility – venturing into the Mortal Realms has been mentioned more than once…The Aeldari are a long-lived race, but in the aftermath of the Fall, they faced a slow demise, and a horrifying afterlife – for Slaanesh has staked its claim on each Aeldari soul in death. In response, the Asuryani bound themselves to soulstones, which capture their souls at their deaths to prevent Slaanesh from taking them. In times of great need, these soulstones are embedded in wraithbone constructs, so that the dead can bolster the armies of the living. There are many such constructs, including the mighty Wraithlord , the towering Wraithknight , and beyond. Fire Prism Some weapons have ‘Blast’ listed in their profile’s abilities. These are referred to as Blast weapons. In addition to the normal rules, the following rules apply to Blast weapons: Asuryani wear the Spirit Stones because they believe that if their souls make it into the Infinity Circuit then they will be safe in death from the hunger of Slaanesh. It is therefore considered a great sin to draw these spirits from out of their ever-lasting sanctuary into the real world once again, where there remains a risk of their Spirit Stones being shattered in war and their souls forever lost to She Who Thirsts. Ynnari work like a special Craftworld, though they have some unique rules to allow them to include Drukhari and Harlequins units along with Craftworlds ones. The over-sized weapons of the Wraithguard allow each of them to focus a portion of their psychic power upon a fixed target. The arcane beams of these weapons open a localised rift between Warpspace and the material universe for a fraction of a second.
